I always notice when a purchase is packed in newspaper - it's sort of a "connective" feeling for me to read of local events in the seller's home area. Still, I was stunned to see how meticulously this book was wrapped, even with newspaper! My first thought was that it must have been wrapped with love. Only a fellow book lover would go to so much trouble. Very refreshing!

Just a word about how nourishing it was to visit your store. I used to love browsing bookstores and buying books. The chains, Borders, Barnes and Noble, et cetera have lost that rich, soulful quality I used to love about a bookstore. It lives on at Avol's!
